weekend #6 photos

Empty can is easy and light to carry in your pocket.

Why did you have to throw it in the water?

so stupid.

It was a grey day when I shot these – shadows are very modest :)

Tölkeistä saa vielä rahaakin, toivottavasti joku poimii tuonkin rahan talteen.

Joku ei tajua, että pienistä puroista….Olisin itse noukkinut tuon pois jos ei olisi ollut pettävää jäätä esteenä.

the drops under the ice shot is very cool…the can bobbing in the water…unfortunate. we had a couple of days of sun this week…but mixed with very, very cold temps. warmer days ahead. happy weekend!!

The sad view of selfish people – take it home and throw it away…

I almost see a rainbow amongst the slight shadows in the water. Subtle and stylish!

  5. I am teaching my students to recycle. I don’t want them to become stupid! ;)

  6. It is sad when people are so thoughtless about the environment. It ends up being someone else’s job to fix it. At school, students are expected to keep round and in their classroom clean. before they enter class they are required to check the area and once inside. That reduces a tendency to dump rubbish.

The pictures are awesome — leaving a can behind, however, is not awesome at all!
    Happy Sunday!

I like the ice shot. You have good technical skills, that’s for sure. I don’t know what to say about the can bobbing in the water. Pollution is endemic on our planet. Just yesterday, I passed a young lady who as she walked along the sidewalk, ate and carelessly threw out the wrapper for her snack onto the highway. Hondurans have lots of trash problems.

  9. I can never understand that either. Your photos of the ice are lovely though.

This is one of my absolute pet hates… litter. It is so lazy and unnecessary and shows a complete lack of care or thought about the world we all share

I’ve carried recyclables home from vacation rather than throw them in the trash. I really like the edge of the ice!
