photos of the weekend #43 / macro week and hey! hey or grass? 🙂
makroviikko/macro week challenge #31Â Â
teema/theme: lämmin / warm
This is a detail of my acrylic painting base… Akryylimaalauspohjan yksityiskohta…
Hey! is this hey or grass or what? I shot this plant while walking by the seashore…
Mikä kasvi tämä on? Huojuu tuulessa mukavasti meren rannalla…
I played with colors and now the plant looks totally different…
Have a relaxing weekend!

Hi Blogitse! Thanks for your comment at Blogtrotter Two, which wanders currently around pre-historical Corsica, where it seems all this mess around will be leading us to… ;). Enjoy and have a wonderful week!
How beautiful colors ! Amazing !
Oooh, I like the plant in purple.
Another stellar series of images! Although, it looks like oats to me…
That purple is simply stunning.
What a lovely time play your photos. I love the strong orange though.
Hope your enjoying wherever you are now.
Been awhile not hearing from you.
Hugs,

I like B&W photos. Have a nice week. Greetings from Romania.
Lovely ! A beautiful Sunday !
Hi Blogitse! Sorry for the absence, but these last two months have been nasty! My mother (90) was in hospital for more than three weeks and the post-surgery was hard! My father (94) seemed to be orphan while my mother was out and felt into some kind of depression… The economy is a disaster and the media only bring bad news… The € Euro is rescued every day, only to be known that it needs to be rescued again and again… What else? Well, maybe «Midnight in Paris»… The problem is that the Gil there is a different one… 😉
Fabulous pictures!!
Blogtrotter Two wanders currently around Porto Vecchio and the beaches in the region! Enjoy and have a wonderful week ahead!
Considering I’m hundreds of miles from the shore I really have no idea, but it’s nothing like the bales of hay our cows eat. I’d call it grass. 🙂 Love all the variations on it you did!
Grasses blowing in the breeze. Love it.
The colors of your painting… so very pretty!
So very pretty. Very creative. Love the shades of color. Have a great week!
very interesting! 🙂
black and white photos are beautiful!
pleasant Sunday!
Pay my respect!
Ohrankeltainen kaislakuvasi on minun mielikkini! Kiva katsoa, kun aihe innostaa moneen kuvaan. Inspis!
The colours seem to define their own shadow depths! The russet gold one has a magical atmosphere! Lovely images of your artwork!
Don’t you love experimenting with the colors? I think it is such fun. My Sunday Bridge post for tomorrow is just like this…an experiment. When I look at those tall grasses all I think of is ITCH! I am so allergic to the stuff. Love to look at it, but walking through it is an absolute NO-NO! Great post. Love the series. genie
I don’t know what it is, but it’s gorgeous in black and white.
these are wild! I especially like the third photo. happy SSS to you.
i put my vote in for grass. the different colors do take on a different look with the golden being my favorite. happy sss!!!
How interesting the way the different color shots bring out the shadows! Cool. Have a good weekend.
A very interesting take on the b/w macro shots of ‘grass’ and switch to
colour!
The original photo of the grasses is as gray as the Finnish winter – so the colorful edits allow the brilliance of the warmer weather. Bold and warm, I hope you have as mild a winter as possible, snow for us tonight – in October in southern Connecticut? I guess the Finns are a bit tougher as it concerns winter weather 🙂
On the East Coast of the U.S., I believe plants like these would be called sea oats.
SHADOW SHOW
Shadows creeping through the land,
Shadows dark on every hand—
If they should begin to glow,
You had better run, you know!
