photos of the weekend #40 / San Francisco buildings and street dancers
Hi everyone!
My new web host seems to work fine…
My flu is finally gone and autumn has arrived 🙂
But here are pics from San Francisco – and more will come soon!
Walk’n shoot, no time to stop and take pictures.
Look at the shadows, they are huge 🙂
Let’s go! ¡vamos!
and now
time to dance!
The queue to THE cable car was loooong!
Too long for us…
Have a relaxing weekend!

Wonderful tour of a beautiful city. Love the perspectives on the buildings.
It’s been ages since I visited you and I’m happy you’re back in action with your blog. I was in SF a month ago and had a wonderful boat ride on 9/11 under the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz. Are you still in SF?
I know these sites well and I’ve seen that dancing many times.
Gorgeous!
Great city. I hope I will visit someday. Greetings from Romania.
Oh, a beautiful flat iron building – – – I do so love those.
Great shots!
I love watching all the street performers there. So fun!
HI EVERYBODY!
I’m very busy today and tomorrow I have painting classes whole day.
I promise to visit your blogs later Monday or Tuesday morning.
Thanks for your visit/comment – see you soon on your site! 🙂
I love the city shots. My favorites are the black & white & Wells Fargo bank! They all are great mood pics – I can almost hear and smell the city and feel the rush of being there! Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!
I lived in San Francisco for a couple of years and your vibrant photos have really made me miss it. It is a wonderful place full of great vistas, architecture, food. You name it! The dancers are really cool. Makes me miss the life of the streets. I can go miles out here where I am now and not see another soul besides a passing car or two for hours. Life is so full of variety and possibilities!
the shots of the city are awesome. glad you are feeling better!!! i too, liked the black and white photo of the manhole cover.
Glad to hear everything seems to be in working order now – including you!
You captured some wonderful scenes and shadows in San Francisco. I love the dancing!
Great pics. The first time I saw a tall building, which was years ago in Mumbai, I was so overwhelmed 🙂 although I grew up in cities. These are awesome. I love how you’ve watermarked your pictures
Great shots of the city. I especially like the black and white of the steam rising from the manhole cover.

beautiful shots. i like the steam coming out of the manhole cover.
what a joy there !
Imagination can run freely here..my best regards 🙂
Terrific photos. Of course, San Francisco is such a treat for photographers.
Visiting you for Sundays In My City. It looks like you chose a beautiful day to get these photos. The sky looks blue and clear. The people look relaxed.
An incredible variety of tall buildings! Awesome perspectives in each photo!
Good ol’ SF! Always entertaining no matter where you go. I love all the architecture shots!
Very good photos.
Regards and best wishes
Magnificent photos! We’ve driven through SF but never had such an artistic lens to capture the view. Thanks!! Happy SSS.
“makes” not “make” (You’d think I’d know how to use English, since I teach it!)
Huge buildings make huge shadows! My sister and her husband live in San Francisco, so seeing your photos of the Golden Gate City make me a little nostalgic.
SHADOW PLAY
Shadows like horses, shadow likes chicks,
Shadows like houses built with red bricks;
Shadows much taller than a high wall—
No matter their shape, I love them all!

What I see the most is beautiful weather! The sky is blue and the famous SF fog is nowhere to be found. The mix of modern and classic architecture makes this skyline a visual treat. Great captures!
What fantastic pictures! We feel like we went on a little field trip! It’s on the list of places to visit….too bad the cable car line was too long – that sounds like fun!
Enjoy your day!
Oh, I just love those tall buildings. Maybe someday I will see them for real.
