August 27th, 2010 by BLOGitse received 40 Comments »

photos of the weekend #34

Last weekend we were in Bilbao, Spain.

It was great to be in Europe again!

We both love Spanish, jamon, red wine…

All these were shot in front/around Guggenheim museum, Bilbao, Spain.

This building is probably modern given that it is full of modern styling. However, it looks great among the older architecture in Bilbao. That spider is huge, massive but oly scary if it were real (it is a statue – right???)

    Nice doggie!

Yikes! That gigantic spider is freaky! But wow, what an awesome shadow it casts! I liked the colourful creature above. It was cute. A dog? Or a bear? Whatever it was it at least didn’t scare the pants off me! Hope you have a super week ahead :)

  25. Wonderful pictures. I would love to visit that museum. Once, in
my life, I visited Bilbao but, more often, I’m in Barcelona – actually,
the last two years for my birthday.

    The spider is incredible.

  30. Wow. I think these are even more awesome to me because where I’m from, everything is on such a smaller scale. Being on a tiny island, you just don’t see things like this. That spider though…. hmmm…. That would freak me out!
