almost 4 hrs cleaning after stormy day… melkein 4 tunnin siivousurakka myrkyisen päivän jälkeen…

We had terrible weather on Saturday. Sandy wind, sandstorm, the whole day.

Poor flowers!

You can not vacuum the sand.

It’s so fine that it would only go through and come back in the air.

My bathroom cabin top…argh!

Our poolboy Sherif cleaned this sandy pool almost 3 hours!
For us it took almost 4 hrs to clean the house inside…good exercise!

Now the house is nice and clean…and I’m checking the weather forcast more often than normally…

Meillä oli järkyttävä hiekkatuuli, hiekkamyrsky, koko lauantain.

Kukat sai pihalla kyytiä, ihme ettei juuriltaan lähteneet.

Joka ikkuna vuotaa enemmän tai vähemmän.

Onneksi kylppärini kaapin päällä ei ollut enempää tavaroita kuten jäljistä voi nähdä.

Olisin joutunut kaiken krääsän yksitellen pesemään.

Tuota hiekkaa ei voi imuroida vaan se pitää harjata pois.

Imuri vain vetaisi pölyn läpi ilmaan. Vielä pahempi.

Uima-altaan siivous kesti Sherifiltä melkein 3 tuntia.

Meillä sisällä siivous vei melkein 4 tuntia kaksistaan.

Saatiin molemmat kunnon liikuntasessiot!

Nyt talo on putsiskliin ja minä seuraan säätiedotuksia hieman useammin kuin normaalisti…

Yes, I’ve been a good wife

I didn’t mean it that seriously – I just felt I wanted get my hands off this computer and do something else.
And I did. For a while.

I took a lot of pictures…I try to understand aperture/shutter speed…
I need to study more!
We cooked together…
We talked…

I had time to play for a while while HE was playing guitar…
both doing and relaxing…

It was TERRIBLE weather here yesterday. Now we have thin sand surface all over the house – that means cleaning today!
I took some pictures to show you later, you can see how it was this time. argh!

Tomorrow is public holiday, The Birthday of Prophet Mohamed.
Today my husband has a ‘bridge day’ – we have a long weekend, nice!

This is the ‘game’ I played yesterday…

1. Go to “wikipedia.” Hit “random article” in the sidebar.The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to “Random quotations”or click quotationspage.
3. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
4. Go to your flickr and click on “Popular” Third picture under “Interesting”, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
5. Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Here’s the result:

Eilen oli taas järkyttävä ilma. Koko päivän myrskysi hiekkaa ja roskia. Taas koko kämppä on ohuen hiekkapölyn alla. Tarkoittaa: tänään siivotaan! argh!
Otin muutamia valokuvia, voitte tulevassa postauksessa itse todeta ettei hiekkatuuli ole ollenkaan hauskaa!

Huomenna on profeetta Mohamedin syntymäpäivä eli vapaapäivä. Mieheni pitää tänään hyppyvapaapäivän eli saamme pidennetyn viikonlopun. Mukavaa!

Tuossa yllä on kuva jonka idea on lyhyesti:
Sattumanvaraisesti haetaan wikipediasta sivu, jonka otsikosta tulee kuvitellun bändisi nimi.
‘Mietelause’ sivustolta haetaan sattumanvarainen sivu, sen viimeisen lauseen 4-5 viimeistä sanaa on ensimmäisen albumisi nimi.
flickr’stä haetaan omista kuvista kohta ’popular’, ja 3. kuva sanan ’interesting’ alla on tuon ekan albumisi kuvituskuva.
Tuon hakemisen jälkeen bändin ja albumin nimi lätkäistään kuvaan ja voila! eka albumisi kansi on valmis!
