be alert when walking in Casa, Morocco

Be alert when walking in Casa, Morocco – all the time! This is not a joke!

Shot at midday so it’s very quiet…
Indicators are not used like in Europe.
You have to guess where drivers are heading…

Be careful. Zebra crossing doesn’t mean nothing here!
Even if I’ve almost crossed the street cars are driving in front of my nose.
Motorist use main streets as their runways and to show off.
They drive like mad and scare people to death.
In the afternoons guys near by school are having show offs and races.
No police, nothing to stop them.
Until somebody dies.

There are no traffic lights for pedestrians.
(They have them in the shopping street but do NOT trust that cars will stop even if you have green light!)

You have to guess when the light changes…

You have to be quick. Run!

Zebra crossing – doesn’t mean a thing!

2 dirhams per hour = 0.18 euro / 0.25 dollar

Snail mail / smail….

I guess this is only for small letters…

You see a lot of stray cats around Casa.
That’s good because there are also a lot of RATS!

I’m a Finnish woman, first born, Aquarius, married with my soul mate, mother of two adults and eager to learn new interesting things that comes my way…and there is so much!
