We had a dinner at Loiste in the heart of the city of Helsinki.

Corniche – täällä ihmiset tapaavat, relaavat, miettivät, romantisoivat…ja taustalla on jatkuva torvien tööttäily ja pakokaasut leijailee…romanttista?

But you’ll see how & what I see when driving around…

Look right, that is one of the worst junctions to go to downtown.
There’s traffic police and they like to stop cars and ask papers. It’s difficult enough because there are too many cars. Terrible queues and especially early mornings and afternoons/evenings.

If you use that junction in the evening to go to dinner etc. it takes about 1,5 – 2 hrs to get to the city + terrible cacophony of horns and bad air!
Early Friday or Saturday morning it takes only 20 mins.
That is one reason why it’s really difficult to leave home and just sit in a car for hours to get something to eat in a restaurant! Much more easier to eat at home…


Tämä on yksi pahimpia Cairon sisääntuloteistä. Katsokaa oikealle miten tukkoinen tuo kohta on. Siinä liikennepoliisi tykkää pysäyttää autoja kysyäkseen papereita. Tietty sillä seurauksella, että perään syntyy jono. Jonoja. Ja siinä seisot etkä muuta voi kuin odottaa. Ja kiilaajia riittää. Ja torvet soi. Ja voi sitä saasteen määrää mitä jonottavat autot ilmoihin päästävät…Ja kaikki haluavat päästä kolmelle kaistalle jotka välillä muodostuvat 5 kaistaisiksi…tiukkaa tekee…

Jos illalla tulee tuosta liittymästä keskustaan matkaan kuluu 1,5 – 2 tuntia.
Lauantai aamuna matkaan menee 20 minuuttia.
Onko ihme ettei ihan hirveästi innosta lähteä baariin tai ulos syömään kun autossa istumiseen kuluu aikaa tuntitolkulla.
Plus järkyttävä kakofoninen melu ja saastunut ilma…
