huge spider shadow and other weekend shots…

photos of the weekend #34

Last weekend we were in Bilbao, Spain.

It was great to be in Europe again!

We both love Spanish, jamon, red wine…

All these were shot in front/around Guggenheim museum, Bilbao, Spain.

  1. I’m so jealous! It looks so beautiful. I’ve only been lucky enough to see the Guggenheim in New York. Some of your pictures could only have been taken in Europe, you know?

  2. Wonderful pictures. I would love to visit that museum. Once, in
my life, I visited Bilbao but, more often, I’m in Barcelona – actually,
the last two years for my birthday.

    The spider is incredible.

  3. Spectacular shots. The museum with it’s contemporary architecture is very inviting. Love the angles in which you shot the building – very impressive. I love that bear sculpture. It looks like it is made of flowers? Just gorgeous. That spider is very cool as well.

  5. Yikes! That gigantic spider is freaky! But wow, what an awesome shadow it casts! I liked the colourful creature above. It was cute. A dog? Or a bear? Whatever it was it at least didn’t scare the pants off me! Hope you have a super week ahead 🙂

  6. What an unusual building! Love your range of shadows! I was thinking a big spider – I didn’t expect a giant spider! lol
    Great shots for the week!

  7. This building is probably modern given that it is full of modern styling. However, it looks great among the older architecture in Bilbao. That spider is huge, massive but oly scary if it were real (it is a statue – right???)

    Nice doggie!
