Sun’s shining!
Yesterday it was like summer,

and it looks the same right now.

It’s my birthday today – last night I danced myself one year older!

Didn’t hurt at all!

or surfing or taking your dog for a walk…

or perhaps you like more SSS flower power…

or would you like to watch peaceful harbor life in the morning…

What would you like to do?

I know what I want to do – go out and enjoy the sun!

I got a challenge (under the title ‘One lovely blog’) from a Finnish blogger Lepis -

I should reveal 5 things about myself.

Here we go:

1. I LOVE the sun. Wintertime in Finland is far too long…

2. I was DJ about one year when under 20 yrs.

3. I like to be alone but I’m very social.

4. I didn’t know I like to draw with my left hand. (I’m right-handed.)

5. I have only a couple of friends, I mean FRIENDS, who really know me.

My hubby is one of them.

6. I don’t like shopping! I do it when I need something but I couldn’t imagine myself

spending a day in a shopping mall…

This guy was trying to rob it but couldn’t get the door open.

How do I know?

The car has stickers of the Irish pub. I popped in and asked if they knew this guy.

Nope.

Now they have three pics of this guy, if needed in a future…hopefully not!

Terveiset Fuerteventurasta Kanarialta!

On ollut pilvistä, tuulista ja vähän vettäkin on ripotellut,

joten ehdin hyvin vastata kolmio-haasteeseen

ennen kuin yritän vielä rannalle – jos ei muuta niin saamaan raitista meri-ilmaa.

Hassua sikäli, että ei ole mitään ohjeita miten viestin saa purettua.

Huoneessa ei ole minkäänlaista puhelinluetteloa,

Ovessa on kyllä pelastustiekartta mutta missään ei ole numeroa mihin pitäisi soittaa

jos vaikka havaitsee tulipalon tai joku on loukkaantunut.

Ja tämän pitäisi olla neljän tähden hotelli!

It’s been cloudy and windy. We got even a few drops of rain.

I’ll tell you more about my adventure at the weekend…and show a couple of photos.

Soon I’ll go to the beach – if the sun’s not there, I’ll get fresh Atlantic air, hasta la vista!

The sky was soooo beautiful!

We saw a lot last weekend with our friends from Sweden.

A travelling exhibition about European identity and today’s Europe.

We had lunch at Restaurant Loiste. Do you remember this place?

In the evening we visited first time in the brand new Helsinki Music Centre.

It wasn’t a good idea to visit this Hotel Katajanokka‘s speciality before the concert in the evening…

This hotel used to be a prison…

Visiting this cell and listening horrible music made my friend feel so bad at the concert that

she almost got a heart attack.

I got terrible pain in my head.

Like someone was slowly tightening a metal band around my head.

Never again contemporary music! I like happy/peaceful music!

but now we have more than enough snow in Helsinki, again.

It’s difficult to walk, drive…roads are slippery under the snow.

Imagine old people whose balance and walking abilities are not that good anymore, sigh.
