    A lovely B&W rose!
    Nice post too!

    A rose is a rose…. even in B&W!
    Beautiful shot with great light!

  5. Came from B&W.
Lovely birthday rose! Enjoying your other shots.

Myöhästyneet, mutta sitäkin ruusuisemmat synttärionnittelut! Kaunis mustavalkoinen ruusukuva.

Iloisen näköistä porukkaa aurinkoisessa karnivaaleissa, mutta totta, hieman liian paljon porukkaa!

    Great post, too!

    terrific shots

  9. I’m not crazy about crowds either. I find them unsettling. Great colours worn by these people. Love those shadows round the stilt people.

belated birthday greetings to you! I find it hard to realize that Lent begins next week. what bright and cheerful colors on those who are celebrating before the more somber season of Lent.

  13. A rose is so poetic. The rest is all so colorful!

  14. avatar Ralph says:

There is nothing so loving and appreciated as a rose like this – color or B&W, a singular rose is a lovely symbol as a birthday gift – and Happy Birthday!

I’m with you, I do not large crowds. Except that there is a lot of color and talent along with plenty of shadows too! The girls who posed for you are cute and happy for your camera. Therein is just enough festival for me as well!

  15. avatar Dorothy says:

I love Malaga but am also not a fan of crowds so I’m not unhappy to have missed this. I am looking at getting back there sometime soon!

  16. avatar startraci says:

The carnival colors truly are bright and happy! I am not a crowd girl either so I will appreciate it through your pictures.
    Happy Sunday!

  17. Beautiful… Happy Birthday:-)

  18. avatar Claudya says:

I’m not crazy about crowds either. Happy belated birthday. Wishing you many more.

I miss Carnival season in New Orleans. My city in Honduras does not participate although other “tourist” spots near the beach have celebrations. I like the clowns.
