my summer 2013 images part 1.
Hi everyone!
I’m back after a good, long break 🙂
Summer 2013 has been excellent in Finland –
sunny and warm, even hot.
We did a couple of short trips, to Sweden and Estonia.
Peekaboo! the first images 🙂
1. A blue and yellow pennant –
you can see them a lot especially in the summer house areas in Sweden..
2. City of Gothenburg from the sea.
3. A wooden shed on the rocks by the Skagerrak sea.
1. Helsinki from the sea.
2. Artistic baroque palace in Tallinn.
3. Walking in the old town of Tallinn.
(with huge shadows :))

Sweden and Estonia are parts of the world that I have yet to explore. Your picture of the shed on the rocks is gorgeous!

Love those HUGE shadows in that street! Massive…
Late in making the rounds this weekend-was at Picurus Pueblo yesterday for their Feast day and heart-stopping pole climbing and dances. I wish I could’ve taken pictures, but none were allowed.
thank you for sharing; have a good Sunday

It’s been a VERY rainy summer for me – as I arrived in Mumbai June 3 for a six month visit and it is monsoon season. I REALLY enjoyed your spectacular travel shots. What a wonderful vacation you’ve had. My only stop in Finland was a day in Helsinki spent as a cruise ship stop on a 12-day Scandinavian cruise. That was so incredibly glorious….many years ago. I would love to repeat it….and to spend a little time in each country.

Wonderful pictures! We will always remember Tallin for the biggest glass of beer the boys have ever had!
Summer breaks are wonderful! By your photos, it looks like you had a wonderful summer too. I especially like the last photo. Have a good day!
All wonderful shots of the city and seaside. Glad to have you back at SIMC, and glad you had a lovely summer break.
Gorgeous scenes. Love the detail and colour of the baroque ceiling and such wonderful ambience in this street view of Tallin.
What wonderful travels you have! As you rest at home, be sure to keep your eyes open for intriguing shadows! Welcome back!
Great shots for the day and welcome back!! Good to see you online again! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!!
Living in Helsinki, you are merely hours away from many countries and can sample other places easily during your (thankfully) warm Finn summers. What a fabulous holiday you have had!
great shots
Hauskoja nämä ihmisen ajatukset. Vasta eilen mietin sua ja Casablancaa kun käly perheineen oli sinne menossa sukuloimaan. Mitä parhainta kesänJATKOA ja viikonloppua
ps. mä meen t-ö-i-h-in (hui!) maanantaina
🙂 toivottavasti heillä on kiva vierailu!
Vai töihin…täytyy tulla sun blogiin kuikuilemaan miten siellä on kesä mennyt!
Mietinkin minne olet hävinnyt….Oli ihan mukava kesä;suurimman osan olin Helsingissä .Ja täälläkin elokuu on normaalia miellyttävämpi siis mitä säähän tulee….
Mukavaa viikonloppua!
Kyllä bloggaustauko taas teki hyvää.Tänä kesänä olen roikkunut netissä todella vähän enkä ole kärsinyt minkäänlaisista vierotusoireista 🙂
Viikonloppuja sinullekin!
Kesä on sujutellut mainiosti, laiskotellessa ja vähän matkustaessa. Muutama viikko pällisteltiin Fuengirolan vanhassa kaupungissa.
Mutta kesä jatkuu vielä, luulen!
JATKUU kesä! Meillä meni alkukesä rempan jälkeisissä. Sen tuloksena on osa kaapeista tosi järjestyksessä, talvivaatteet käyty läpi, pesulaan viety mitä piti ja kierrätykseen monta ikeakassillista. 🙂
Mukavaa viikonloppua!
