and music on the ground
weekend #33 photos shot in Helsinki, Finland on Thursday 15.8.2012
Would you like to have dinner up there?
On the way back home we listened a minute of these musicians
His cajón was made of cardboard
– the sound was pretty good!
Have a relaxing weekend!

I’m a Finnish woman, first born, Aquarius, married with my soul mate, mother of two adults and eager to learn new interesting things that comes my way…and there is so much!

I saw that dinner show on Tuesday and couldn’t help thinking that it’s for people who already have everything. Some dine in the sky, some try to find daily meal searching empty bottles from the ground.

And it’s going to be worse…Politicians are not ready to take more from those who already have everything. Nothing is enough. sigh!
Hienosti sait kuvattua tuon ilmaravintolan.Vähän turha juttu ,mielestäni.

The dinner in the sky concept is not for me no matter how grand the view! My stomach would be seething and I pity anyone who wandered below me at an “inopportune” moment! But I love the upward view of it all from the ground complete with shadows PLUS the street musicians!

Always so expansive. I love the way that person listening to guitar blends into the blog background.
Some beautiful shots.

I would eat up there, HOWEVER, it would certainly be a LONG HAUL for the waiters to go back and forth from the kitchen to the table!!!

not my ideal place to have dinner, but I can see the thrill seekers loving it!

What a gorgeous city! But no, I do not think I would enjoy eating dinner suspended in the sky like that.
Happy Sunday!

That just seems to be a little excessive in my books but hey, don’t we all wish we had that choice to make.

I’ve read about the sky-high dinners before, but I don’t think I could do that. I bet the view is fantastic though.

Who would have thought of making a cajon out of cardboard? Awesome!
I’ll take my dinner on the ground please (along with the music)-I’d be a nervous wreck up there!

It would be fun just have dessert up there. I always drop food so hopefully there would be something to catch it. I can’t imagine they let you drink much alcohol up there. Probably too much $$.

Interesting. Not sure I would be comfortable dining in the sky. Hope they don’t drop anything.
I like it very much!
Happy Sunday!

While it looks quite adventurous, I don’t think I could handle that dinner in the sky! Closest I’ve been is probably lunch up in the Space Needle in Seattle…

If I had wings, I think I’d enjoy flying. But I don’t, so being firmly planted on the earth is my preference, thank you. Doesn’t look all that pleasurable to me.

oh what cool shots…and no…probably not eating up there…does not look like there are sides…swaying and eating…equals…seeing the food again and maybe in not so pleasant sight the second time around!!!!

What wonderful photos! I’ll pass on that “dinner in the sky” thing though. Not a fan of heights. I’m sure I would quite literally “lose my cookies.”
GREAT shadow picture, but I don’t think I’d like to eat dinner up there! I keep thinking what if they have to go to the bathroom?
