Huh, I’ve been active this week!
Yesterday I visited in an interesting place which I’ll post in near future.
On Sunday it’s Mother’s Day in Finland.
This time we’ll have late lunch at my mother’s place.
She likes cooking and her food is always good.
We asked salmon in cream & garlic and new potatoes…aah, can’t wait!
It’s getting green in Helsinki, finally.
I shot these a couple of days ago – now trees are much greener!

No ei. Minähän en kuivaksi suostu. Jos meinaan kuivua lisään rasvaa! (jota muuten piiloutuu bodyyn, tuonne ihon alle…ihme juttu)

ps. siksi siis sun omppu ei ole niin rutikuiva koska sinäkään et ole!

Helsinki-kuvat ovat kauniita. Merellisiä, rakastan Helsingin rantoja. Juuri äsken itsekin zoomailin partsilta tuonne Vanhan kaupungin lahdelle….

Kevät kuvasarja on mukavaa katseltavaa. Tuolit odottavat istujoita ja auringonpalvojia. Kuiva rusina olisi voinut olla luumukin, molemmat mukavaa mutusteltavaa.

Osa kuvista napattu ennen klo 11 ja osa 12 jälkeen jolloin ei liikkeellä ollut kuin autoilijoita ja muutama lenkkeilijä ja lastenulkoiluttaja.

Helsinki at least looks warm enough for Mother’s Day (over here too). A fine menu, Mom will enjoy serving her children again…Your city is beautiful!
Our Mother’s Day menu might include lime marinated chicken…but being such a special day, we honor Patti’s mother. Happily!

I do so love to see your part of the world through your photos. The daffodils are gorgeous – ours have bloomed and gone. And “shadows like veins…” is such an evocative phrase. I’ve never thought of tree shadows that way.

Hi, great photos of Helsinki, yes I am coming to Helsinki. I am on a cruise in the Baltic accompanying my mother. I am in Helsinki only for one day on the 28th May, everything is organised by the cruise. I am really looking forward to it.
