  1. Beautiful shots! Love the first one with the people ice fishing. I want to try ice fishing someday. 🙂 I think they are ice fishing, aren’t they? hehehe…. Visiting late via SSS.

  2. Hello! I’m looking for snow, none around here, but I knew just where to go to find some. It’s in the 80’s here in southern California but your images are a welcome cold even if only for the eyes. I love the delicate stalks with the little mounds at the bottom and the ice fishing one is a real treat. I’m so jealous!

  3. Well, I SO don’t get the appeal of ice fishing – I look at them and think, no matter clothing I was buried in – how totally miserable I’d be. As someone else mentioned, can’t look at it without feeling cold. Your second shot is lovely and peaceful all wrapped up together.

  4. How do you KNOW they’re your last winter shots of the season? We get lots of snow over here in March – – – in fact it is snowing right now. You might be FORCED to do some more snowy shots! 😉

  5. So gorgeous, BLOGitse. The more pictures I see of snow, the more I wish to play in it. 🙂 I’ve never seen snow ‘xcept in the movies. Lovely. The starkness of the last photo is gorgeous!

    Happy Sunday!

  6. The Finns seem to live in a winter wonderland – with all that snow (and the days getting a little longer), small and slender shadows we see. I notice that the thorns are still there – why can’t the winter kill the thorns too? Nice shots!

  7. I love seeing winter shots like this from a distance. (too cold for me!)

I learned to ice fish a couple of years ago on a trip to Wisconsin. It was fun!!

  9. We are certainly happy to see your snow ~ we didn’t get much at all….and I don’t think anyone really had a chance to go ice fishing either! Of course, winter isn’t quite done yet here…and March did “come in like a lamb” so maybe we will see something yet!

  11. Hi Blogitse! Sorry for the absence, but time has been at a premium here… 😉

Are you sure that snow won’t come back? 😉

Blogtrotter Two has reached April 2011; no trips, and posting delay is shortening… ;). Enjoy and have a great weekend!!!

Kiitos jos puffaat! Nykyään on niin paljon tarjontaa mutta toivottavasti tämä haaste olisi vähän erilainen ja saisi ihmiset lapsen ilolla ja ennakkoluulottomuudella luomaan!
