photos of the weekend #35 / salmon in rye cups with white wine…
Mix sour cream, sliced salmon, black pepper, garlic, sea salt. Put in cups.
Let them rest in fridge at least 2-3 hrs.
Decorate the cups and enjoy with white wine! Cheers!

I passed St. John’s Church the other day.
This shot I found in Wikipedia.

Now that’s a recipe even I can handle. Sounds delicious, fresh and perfect for summer snacking with chilled wine. Now, if I can only find some rye cups!
My Google Reader told about your post only today! Late, late, late.
Those snacks sound delicious!!!!!!!
Now that soeone else mentioned it, I’m just going to have to pick up some Pinot Grigio when I’m in town. We have the flat rye crisp crackers that I love, I may have to try them with your recipe.
Another lover of your condensation shot with your church shot running a close second.
Yum, yum, yum. I want some.
That salmon looks divine!
Lovely capture of the church. Beautiful.
Beautiful church. Love the shot!
Scrumptious shots! I could almost reach right through my screen and get one! I love your third shot – so intricate and pretty! The church is beautiful. Happy Sunday!
I absolutely love church/cathedral architecture!! It looks like a beautiful specimen. 🙂

Oh man, the salmon in rye cups looks so yummy! St. John’s Church is a fabulous edifice and makes fab shadows too. I have the hardest time posting comments on your blog. Sure hope this one takes! Sending wishes that you have a good weekend too.
Noihin tulee himo ihan pelkistään ja sinun reseptisi saattaisi viedä kielen mennessään!
Very good and nice photos, especially I like the last one.
Regards!
You mean those cups don’t get soggy whilst in the ‘fridge? They look delicious. A glass of Pinot Grigo too, please….
mmmmm…. I know what to order next time from Finland! The combination of rye+garlic+salmon etc. sounds absolutely delicious.
I like St. John’s Church – years and years ago when I was singing in Suomen Laulu, we had “Matteus Passio” (St Matthew Passion) concert there every Maundy Thursday.
Lovely pictures (as always)!
