Lucignano is a beautiful, small city on top of the hill.

a bandage on my arm by BLOGitse

What a mess my life is now!
Our stuff from Casa arrived and we have too much of everything.
We’ve recycled this and that but not enough. sigh!

The weather is beautiful, at the end of the week it’s going to be hot, +30 C / 86 F!

Why my life is a mess?

No shower for two days…you see why!

mosquito bite was here by BLOGitse

An old mosquito bite encapsulated and it’s going to be analysed. It should be “clean’, just an old bite…
Stitches will be removed after two weeks…argh!

Don’t ask me why I didn’t change the operation time…

autumn would’ve been much better time for this!

    • Oh Susie thanks! The bite was nothing serious and the scar is healing well.

  1. Your photos are fantastic! I love those old towns where everything has been kept as it was many years ago.
It starts getting hot here too. We had very bad weather during the past weeks, with thunderstorms, lot of rain… Finally, it seems that summer is coming, yuhuuuu!!!
    Take care of your arm.

    • Thanks Rocio – we got it now, rain, rain, rain….but I don’t complain. The nature is very happy and most of the people were tired of the heat wave too (not me). It was impossible to do any work inside but now…I should organize our stuff but I’m here…okay, after this I’ll go… 🙂

  2. Mosquitoes are annoying, and sometimes they carry that Nile virus, too…

  3. Lucignano looks like a very charming town. It also looks quite “tranquillo”, no crowds strolling up and down…. I love all your shots, especially those of the doors. The statue of the virgin Mary doesn’t look very steady there,I guess people aren’t clumsy and there’s no risk of it falling off and breaking into pieces? The plaque for the partisan is very touching… Sounds and looks enchanting!!

I can’t believe a mosquito did that to you! The little b****rd!!! I hope it’s not too much of a bother.

Don’t work too hard and enjoy the wonderful weather you’ll be having this weekend!!

    Ci vediamo dopo!

I hope that wound will heal as it should…
Heat wave is over and we’re back to ‘normal’ weather again. It’s good because I have dentist this afternoon! 🙂

  4. America is such a baby in the face of the old world. We have our history, here, but, I see ancient walls over there that make my mouth go ga-ga (not Lady Gaga, but just your universal ga-ga.) We have a plague of mosquitoes here. Don’t underestimate those little bastards. After we are long gone, it will be them and the roaches left to fight it out.

    • ga-ga – I like that! 🙂
I hate mosquitoes, I don’t like that zzzzzzzz sound, and their bites are itchy…I’m sure they will survive after us!!!

  5. Miten pittoreski kaupunki, kiitos jakamisesta, hienoja kuvia vaan onkin.

  6. Kauniita kuvia taas Italiasta.parantumisiin, miten vanha hyttysenpurema ärtyi noin pahaksi`?
