That’s a lovely series. I love Helsinki but have only ever been there in the summer!
The first five make a huge statement about pollution – good work!
The shadows are subtle and give dimension to your photos nonetheless!
The steamy reflections seem to look and feel warm as the plumes race through the cold sky. It at least warmer than the frozen Finnish land and water. The shadowy reflections are nicely captured!

You poor girl, not only do we have to put up with winter, but we get sick too and have to tolerate that for 6 months…I can see the stacks billowing pollutants into the city from my kitchen window, not a pretty sight…and stinky too, a grain processing plant and a coal power plant…toxic soup anyone!!!

I keep forgetting that live in Finland. Stay warm and I hope you feel better. It seems like cold weather should make colds and flu go away! It’s a good idea though lol

Just came by to get my snow fix and I wasn’t disappointed! Just incase I don’t see anymore snow before Christmas, (we are warming up into the 80′s this weekend!), I know I can come here and look at some great holiday weather to get in the mood. Good luck with the move…
