I’m so happy to see you here!
I support you because you’re GOOD.
You’re talented and kind person – most of the talented photographers DO NOT comment here even if I’ve left comments on their blogs.
Maybe they feel they are above me and my snapshots. Maybe their reputation would be spoiled…
    Don’t know.
But I’m happy I found you via Owen, he’s a great guy!
    Happy Christmas!

At the moment I couldn’t shoot any shadow shots because it’s grey and foggy out there! 🙂

  2. Hi BLOGitse,

Lovely shot. I love the light and the perspective. It must be so fabulous to take in all that ancient history!

I also want to send you Warm Wishes for the holiday season, though I’d be most interested to hear how this time is spent in Egypt!

Mainly wanted to take this time to thank you for all your support and encouragement this year. Your words have meant so much to me.

And I’m looking forward to more of your photography next year!

  5. Wow – great picture. Very dramatic. Those ancient columns don’t look stable anymore.

    thanks for visiting my blog.

Speaking of Finland (not that we were) I had a chance to perform Sibelius’s 2nd Symphony Friday night. What a magnificent piece of music! We almost got it right.

    Cheers!

  6. What a marvelous shot for the day! I couldn’t agree more about what a terrific combination history and shadows make. And to think that after thousands of years the beauty is still there and in one’s mind you could indeed walk with the Pharaohs.

    Have a great week!

  7. The antiquity merges with the modern – the artifact and the person of today. The sun and the shadows are linked mow, ant they link the different eras very nicely!
