I use a calendar (almanac) and a mobile calendar to remember birthdays, appointments etc.
I use a buzz to remember to empty the washing machine, not overcooking food etc. That way I don’t have to check the time all the time. I can concentrate on one thing at a time. 
Now we have a small black board on our kitchen wall.
We painted it ourselves as you can see!
We write down things we have to do or a shopping list…
Minä tarvitsen erilaisia työkaluja muistamaan erilaisia asioita…
Käytän tavallista sekä kännykän kalenteria muistamaan synttärit, tapaamiset jne.
Kännykän häläreitä käytän muistuttamaan pesukoneen tyhjentämisestä, ruoka valmista jne.
Voin keskittyä kulloiseenkiin tehtävään rauhassa kun ei tarvitse katsoa kelloa koko ajan!
Nyt meillä on myös pieni liitutaulu keittiön seinällä. Maalasimme sen itse, kuten kuvasta näkyy! Kirjoitamme siihen tehtävät hommat tai kaupan ostoslistan…

Interesting….I just noticed on my g-mail, a new category called “Tasks”, it is one of these memo pad things…you can click on it and make your list of things to do.
I’ve noticed that too BUT
you have to click it,
it should be automatic,
like: you could choose how many days/hours/minutes it reminds you of the task.
Now you have to REMEMBER to click it…aah! maybe one day it’s automatic…we’ll see!
Now I go to have my afternoon swim!

Oh wow that is so artistic! I use my outlook calender to remind me of everything. That helps a lot.
Hieno! Miten teitte sen? Siis mietin,miten maalataan liitutaulu….
Itse käytän puhelinta muistamiseen, se on siihen niin kätevä!

YAELIAN; Ostettiin maalit Suomesta…tana viikonloppuna maalataan alareunaan viela magneettinen reunus…ettei vaan ole liian siistin nakoinen!
Siihen kun tulee lippua ja lappua niin tulee viela kotoisempi olo!
Onneksi noi on vesiliukoisia eli ei suuri tyo paasta eroon jos kyllastyy…
The g-mail memo thing is useless, since I can’t take it with me when I go shopping.. some have these in hand-held devices…for me, it is pencil and paper…”take out the garbage, gas up the truck, grocery store? Coffee! Dog food…etc…”

Yepp, I use calendar, mobile, computer reminder, little timer in the kitchen and notes on the fridge
MYTHO; hah I know those memos! Similar here! Even if I use several devices our shopping list is on paper!
I like pen & paper too!
NICOLE; fridge, that I forgot! I have a calendar on the door to reminder me what week day it is – sometimes I loose a Monday if I don’t look at the calendar!
I do use Google calendar to e-mail me about important things a day or 2 ahead of time. I also have a note book in my purse for things I remember when I’m in the car. Your writing is very artistic on the blackboard.
SONIA; Google calendar emails you? how? I didn’t notice that kind of option…hm…have to check out!

Minulla on erittäin hyvä muisti mutta valikoiva. Tylsien asioiden muistamiseksi minulla on monenlaisia hauskoja esineitä näkyvillä paikoilla, jotka eivät ole noiden esineiden tavanomaisia paikkoja.
MEDIA; heratit mielenkiintoni noihin esineiden epatavallisiin paikkoihin, kerro joku esimerkki! Ovatko ne tyyliin heratyskello jaakaapissa? (miten heratys toimisi jos kello olisi jaakaapissa?)
Tehokkain on mikä tahansa maskotti tietokoneen näytön edessä.
Herätyskelloni on Muumi, jota en raaskisi laittaa jääkaappiin palelemaan.
